Privacy Policy
Last updated June 11, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how parashutter (“parashutter”, “we”, “us”) handles your information when you use parashutter.com and related pages (the “Service”), where you create shareable photo templates and invite others to add photos.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image through our authentication provider. We do not receive your Google password.
- Content you create. The photos you capture or images you upload, and the template settings you choose (layout, text, colors, background).
- Technical information. Basic data needed to operate the app and keep it secure.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate the Service: to create and render your templates, generate the final image, produce shareable links, manage your account and plan limits, and keep the Service working and secure. We do not sell your personal information.
How your photos are stored
Template settings are stored in our database (Convex). Photos and uploaded images are stored with Cloudflare R2 and are encrypted at rest; they are decrypted only to display them inside your template. Your photos are not used for advertising or any purpose other than providing the Service.
Sharing and visibility
Each template you create has a unique link (for example, parashutter.com/p/<id>). Anyone who has that link can view the template and add a photo to an open slot — no account is required to view or contribute. Please only share links with people you trust, and do not share links to content you want to keep private.
Service providers
We rely on the following providers to run the Service:
- Google — sign-in / authentication.
- Convex — database and authentication backend.
- Cloudflare R2 — encrypted image storage.
These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
Retention and deletion
You can delete a template at any time from your Photo Album. Deleting a template removes it and its photos from our database and from storage. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us at the email below.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
